Adding an additional domain to your hosting account

Adding a new domain in Plesk

On Business and Pro shared hosting plans, you can host multiple websites under one account by adding additional domains.

Steps

1. Log in to Plesk
2. Go to Websites & Domains
3. Click Add Domain
4. Enter your domain name (e.g. newdomain.com)
5. Plesk will create a separate document root for this domain (e.g. /httpdocs/newdomain.com)
6. Click OK

After adding the domain

• Point the new domain's nameservers or A record to your hosting server
• Install SSL certificate for the new domain via SSL/TLS Certificates → Let's Encrypt
• Upload website files to the domain's document root

Plan limits

• Starter: 1 website
• Business: 20 websites
• Pro: 50 websites
