Configuring email in Microsoft Outlook

Setting up email in Outlook

These steps work for Outlook on Windows, macOS, and Outlook.com (web).

Open Outlook → File → Add Account
Enter your email address and click Connect
If Outlook doesn't auto-detect settings, choose IMAP
Enter incoming mail settings:
- Server: mail.yourdomain.com
- Port: 993, Encryption: SSL/TLS
Enter outgoing mail settings:
- Server: mail.yourdomain.com
- Port: 587, Encryption: STARTTLS
Enter your password and click Connect

Your username is your full email address (e.g. [email protected]) and the password is the one you set when creating the mailbox in Plesk.

Note: Replace yourdomain.com with your actual domain name in all server fields.
