Setting up WooCommerce on WordPress Hosting
Install WooCommerce, configure products, and set up payments on your WordPress hosting plan.

WooCommerce is the most popular e-commerce plugin for WordPress. All our WordPress Hosting plans fully support WooCommerce.
Installing WooCommerce
- In WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New
- Search for "WooCommerce"
- Click Install Now then Activate
- Follow the Setup Wizard to configure your store basics
Adding products
- Go to Products → Add New
- Add title, description, price, and product image
- Set product type (Simple, Variable, etc.)
- Click Publish
Setting up payments
WooCommerce supports Stripe, PayPal, bank transfer, and more. Go to WooCommerce → Settings → Payments to configure payment gateways.
SSL for WooCommerce
WooCommerce requires HTTPS. Ensure your SSL certificate is active in Plesk and that WordPress is set to use https:// in Settings → General.
Performance tip: For high-traffic WooCommerce stores, consider upgrading to a VPS plan for dedicated resources.
