Our Cloudflare

Cloudflare edge + Origin certificate

Cloudflare shows visitors its own trusted certificate. Between Cloudflare and our server we install a 15-year Cloudflare Origin certificate and use Full (strict) mode, so both hops are encrypted and verified.

Let's Encrypt

If you keep your own DNS or your own Cloudflare, Plesk issues a free Let's Encrypt certificate for your domain and renews it automatically.

Yes. Every website on every hosting plan gets a free certificate, issued and renewed automatically.

No. Let's Encrypt certificates renew automatically before they expire, and the Cloudflare Origin certificate is valid for 15 years.

For encryption, yes. Free and paid domain-validated certificates use the same strong encryption and show the same padlock. Paid OV and EV certificates add a company check, which some compliance rules ask for.

Yes. We don't sell them, but you can upload a certificate you bought in Plesk and use it for your site.

Cloudflare encrypts the connection to our server too, and checks that our server's certificate is valid for your domain. Nobody between Cloudflare and us can read or fake the traffic.

Yes. Your webmail runs on HTTPS, just like your website.
