Adding an additional domain to your hosting account
Host multiple websites under one hosting account by adding additional domains in Plesk.
Adding a new domain in Plesk
On Business and Pro shared hosting plans, you can host multiple websites under one account by adding additional domains.
Steps
- Log in to Plesk
- Go to Websites & Domains
- Click Add Domain
- Enter your domain name (e.g.
newdomain.com) - Plesk will create a separate document root for this domain (e.g.
/httpdocs/newdomain.com) - Click OK
After adding the domain
- Point the new domain's nameservers or A record to your hosting server
- Install SSL certificate for the new domain via SSL/TLS Certificates → Let's Encrypt
- Upload website files to the domain's document root
Plan limits
- Starter: 1 website
- Business: 20 websites
- Pro: 50 websites
