How to connect an existing domain to your hosting

Connecting your domain

If you already have a domain registered elsewhere, you can connect it to your Zebra Hosting Cloud account by updating the nameservers.

Option A — Update nameservers (recommended)

1. Log in to your domain registrar
2. Find DNS or Nameserver settings
3. Replace existing nameservers with those in your welcome email
4. Wait 1–24 hours for propagation

Option B — Update only the A record

If you want to keep your existing DNS provider (e.g. Cloudflare), you can just point the A record to your server IP:

1. Find your server IP in Client Area → Services → your service
2. In your DNS provider, set the A record for your domain to that IP
3. Set TTL to 300 seconds for faster propagation

Verify the connection

Once DNS propagates, visit your domain in a browser. You should see your Plesk default page or your website if you've already uploaded files.
