How to create a subdomain in Plesk
Add a subdomain (e.g. blog.yourdomain.com) and point it to a specific folder.
Creating a subdomain in Plesk
A subdomain lets you run a separate section of your website under a different URL, such as shop.yourdomain.com or blog.yourdomain.com.
Steps
- Log in to Plesk
- Go to Websites & Domains
- Find your main domain and click Add Subdomain
- Enter the subdomain prefix (e.g.
blog) - Set the document root (the folder where subdomain files will be stored)
- Click OK
Adding SSL to a subdomain
- Go to Websites & Domains
- Click on your subdomain
- Go to SSL/TLS Certificates
- Click Get it free under Let's Encrypt
- Click Install
