Setting up email in Outlook

These steps work for Outlook on Windows, macOS, and Outlook.com (web).

Outlook on Windows or Mac

  1. Open Outlook → File → Add Account
  2. Enter your email address and click Connect
  3. If Outlook doesn't auto-detect settings, choose IMAP
  4. Enter incoming mail settings:
    • Server: mail.yourdomain.com
    • Port: 993, Encryption: SSL/TLS
  5. Enter outgoing mail settings:
    • Server: mail.yourdomain.com
    • Port: 587, Encryption: STARTTLS
  6. Enter your password and click Connect

Authentication

Your username is your full email address (e.g. [email protected]) and the password is the one you set when creating the mailbox in Plesk.

Note: Replace yourdomain.com with your actual domain name in all server fields.
